Overview

Springary, Inc. ("Springary," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Springary website, point of sale software, and online ordering platform for flower shops, together with the customer-facing storefronts we host on behalf of those shops (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Service, how we use it, and what choices you have.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information described in this policy and to our Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The short versionWe collect only what we need to run Springary. We do not sell your personal information. Your shop's orders, customers, and product catalog belong to you — not to us, and not to anyone who wants to advertise to your customers.

How we use it

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the Service. Specifically, we use your information to:

  • Create and manage your account and authenticate you and your staff
  • Deliver core features such as point of sale, online ordering, delivery management, and customer loyalty
  • Process payments, payouts, refunds, and chargebacks through our payment partners

Your shop's data

When a flower shop uses Springary, the shop is the owner of the customer and order records it stores in the Service, and we process that data on the shop's behalf and under its instructions. Shops are responsible for handling their customers' information lawfully and for honoring privacy requests those customers make directly to them.

If you are a shopper who placed an order through a Springary-hosted storefront and want your information accessed, corrected, or deleted, please contact the shop you ordered from. You may also contact us and we will route your request to the shop and assist where we can.

On AI featuresWe use your shop's data to run the AI features you choose to use inside your own account. We do not sell that data, and we do not use your customer lists to advertise to your shoppers on behalf of anyone else.

Sharing & disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers. We work with trusted vendors — including cloud hosting, payment processing, email and SMS delivery, mapping and delivery routing, and analytics providers — who process data on our behalf under written agreements that prohibit them from using it for any other purpose.

Between shops and shoppers. Order information necessarily flows to the shop fulfilling the order, and order status information flows back to the shopper. Delivery details are shared with the courier or driver assigned to the delivery.

Legal requirements. We may disclose information where required by law or in response to valid legal process such as a court order or government request, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Springary, our users, or the public.

Business transfers. If Springary is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you by email or a prominent notice on our website before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

With your consent. We may share information in other cases where you have given us explicit permission to do so.

Payments

Card payments taken through Springary are handled by PCI-compliant payment processors. Full card numbers are transmitted directly to those processors and are not stored on Springary's systems. We retain limited payment metadata — such as the last four digits, card brand, authorization result, and amount — so you can reconcile sales, issue refunds, and research disputes.

Our payment partners process this information under their own privacy policies in addition to this one, and may collect verification details required by financial regulations before enabling payouts to your shop.

Data retention

We retain your account and shop data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory purposes — transaction records, for example, are generally kept for the period required by applicable tax law.

Backups and archived copies may persist in secure, isolated storage for up to 12 months following deletion, after which they are permanently purged. You can export your shop's records at any time before closing your account.

Security

We take the security of your data seriously. The Service is hosted on infrastructure that employs encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, role-based access controls, audit logging, and regular security reviews. Access to production data by our staff is limited to what is needed for support and operations.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately at [email protected].

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the Service. Specifically, we use:

  • Essential cookies required to keep you logged in, protect against fraud, and remember your session and cart
  • Preference cookies that remember choices such as your shop, language, and display settings
  • Analytics cookies that help us understand how the Service is used so we can improve it — this data is aggregated and is not tied to personally identifiable information for advertising purposes

We do not use cross-site advertising or tracking cookies. You can instruct your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are sent. If you disable essential cookies, parts of the Service may not function correctly.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights with respect to your personal information, including the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Delete your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions
  • Export a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Restrict or object to certain types of processing
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or California, additional rights and protections may apply under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA respectively. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Please contact us for more information.

Children

The Service is intended for businesses and general audiences and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice within the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
